Small Steps, Big Heart!
Atlas is a sensitive boy looking for a calm, quiet home where he can continue to build his confidence. He can be hesitant around new people and unfamiliar situations, often showing interest in approaching but still feeling unsure. Despite this, Atlas has been making wonderful progress and is becoming more willing to interact with new people when given the time and space to do so. He will need ongoing training and socialisation to help him continue developing confidence and positive experiences with the world around him.
As his confidence grows, so does his playful side. Atlas is becoming increasingly interested in toys and enjoys spending time engaging with his favourite people. He forms very strong bonds and would be best suited to a single-person home or a quiet household with very few people. Once he trusts someone, Atlas is incredibly devoted and loves being close to his person.
Atlas has also made encouraging improvements with lead walking. While he was previously very resistant and would thrash around on lead, he is now beginning to walk more confidently and is showing continued progress. He is eating better, settling into routines more comfortably, and generally showing positive improvements in his behaviour. His future adopter will need to be patient and committed to continuing his training, confidence building, socialisation, and leash work.
Atlas is looking for an adult-only home with no children due to her nervousness. He would also do best as the only dog in the home, as he can show some resource guarding of his chosen person. Atlas will thrive with an understanding adopter who can provide a low-stress environment, ongoing training, and the patience needed to help him become the best version of himself. Apply Now for the opportunity to meet this gorgeous boy. ❤️

How Adoption Works
Our adoption process is designed to match pets with the right families, making it easy and stress-free.
Plan
Think about your home, lifestyle, and long-term commitment. Make sure you’re ready to provide a loving, permanent home for a cat or dog.
Search
When you begin your search for a furry friend, read each animal’s description carefully. This ensures both you and the pet will be a purrfect match.
Apply
Submit your adoption application with accurate details so our team can determine the best fit for the animal. Please be patient with us as we review large amounts of applications.
Visit
If approved, schedule a meet-and-greet session. Spend time with the pet to confirm a good fit before finalising adoption.
