Marley And You!
Marley is the definition of a true gentleman. Friendly, social, and wonderfully easy-going, he greets both familiar faces and strangers with a relaxed, welcoming attitude. Nothing much seems to faze this lovely boy, and while he’s a little older, he still has a spring in his step and enjoys getting out and about with his people.
One of Marley’s favourite things in life is simply being around humans. He thrives on companionship and is happiest when he can spend his day close to his family. At the shelter, he has shown signs of becoming stressed and vocal when left alone, settling quickly once people are nearby again. Because of this, Marley is looking for a home where someone is around most of the time and can help him build confidence with being alone should separation-related behaviours arise in the home.
Marley is a pleasure to have around. He is comfortable with handling, enjoys human interaction, is house trained, and walks beautifully on lead without pulling. He isn’t particularly interested in toys or rough-and-tumble play, preferring a more relaxed lifestyle, although his love of food makes him highly motivated and eager to learn. His calm nature makes him a very easy companion to live with.
Marley could happily be rehomed as an only dog or alongside another calm, easy-going dog that is content to coexist rather than constantly play. He has not been tested with cats and may be suitable for primary school-aged children and older, depending on the home. An adopter with an understanding of the breed and a commitment to providing plenty of companionship will be rewarded with a loyal, affectionate, and incredibly lovable best friend. 🐾

How Adoption Works
Our adoption process is designed to match pets with the right families, making it easy and stress-free.
Plan
Think about your home, lifestyle, and long-term commitment. Make sure you’re ready to provide a loving, permanent home for a cat or dog.
Search
When you begin your search for a furry friend, read each animal’s description carefully. This ensures both you and the pet will be a purrfect match.
Apply
Submit your adoption application with accurate details so our team can determine the best fit for the animal. Please be patient with us as we review large amounts of applications.
Visit
If approved, schedule a meet-and-greet session. Spend time with the pet to confirm a good fit before finalising adoption.
