Small Size, Huge Personality!
Uma is an adorable French Bulldog who wins over everyone she meets with her friendly, social nature. This sweet girl loves people and is always happy to greet strangers with a wag and a smile. She is affectionate, enjoys being close to her humans, and is comfortable with handling, including being picked up. Uma is a true social butterfly who is looking for a family ready to shower her with love and include her in daily life.
While Uma is a confident little companion with people, she can feel slightly overwhelmed in new environments and may need some gentle encouragement when faced with unfamiliar situations. She would benefit from ongoing confidence-building, positive socialisation, and basic obedience training to help her navigate the world with greater ease. Breed experience would be highly regarded, as would a commitment to continuing her training and exposing her to new sights, sounds, and experiences in a positive way.
Uma has low activity levels and enjoys leisurely daily walks, where she is a delight to handle on lead and rarely pulls. She can occasionally be a little hesitant and need some encouragement, but happily follows along once she gains confidence. When it’s time to play, Uma loves her toys, especially balls and squeaky toys, and enjoys interactive play with her people. Like many French Bulldogs, she can be somewhat vocal at times, particularly when settling or wanting attention, but it is all part of her charming personality.
Uma could potentially live with another calm, friendly small to medium-sized dog who would be a good role model and companion. She would also suit a home with primary school-aged children who can interact respectfully with her. Uma is currently underweight and is not yet house trained, so her new family will need to continue helping her establish good routines. She is not suited to being left alone for long periods and would thrive in a home where she receives plenty of companionship, guidance, and love. In return, Uma promises to be a loyal, affectionate, and endlessly endearing companion.
