Small Dog, Big Opinions!
Joan is a lovable French Bulldog with a huge personality and an even bigger love for people. She is incredibly human-oriented and thrives on companionship, affection, and being included in everyday life. Friendly with everyone she meets, Joan is happiest when she’s by your side and will make a loyal, devoted companion for someone looking for a dog that truly loves human company.
Like many Frenchies, Joan is very vocal and expressive. She isn’t afraid to let you know how she’s feeling and can be quite noisy when she’s excited or stimulated. She has plenty of character and will keep her family entertained with her classic French Bulldog charm and quirky personality.
Joan is seeking a dog-only home, as she is not social with other dogs and can be reactive when she sees them. Her behaviour may include barking, screaming, and occasional lunging, although she responds very well to verbal corrections and leash handling. She is currently undergoing ongoing dog-to-dog training and will need an owner who is committed to continuing her progress, setting clear boundaries, and providing consistent guidance around appropriate behaviour.
Joan would be best suited to a quieter home with children aged 15 and over, away from busy dog-walking areas and dog parks. She can be strong on lead and does pull, despite her small size, so she’ll benefit from an owner confident in handling her. With structure, consistency, and ongoing training, Joan will reward her new family with endless love, loyalty, and companionship. ❤️

How Adoption Works
Our adoption process is designed to match pets with the right families, making it easy and stress-free.
Plan
Think about your home, lifestyle, and long-term commitment. Make sure you’re ready to provide a loving, permanent home for a cat or dog.
Search
When you begin your search for a furry friend, read each animal’s description carefully. This ensures both you and the pet will be a purrfect match.
Apply
Submit your adoption application with accurate details so our team can determine the best fit for the animal. Please be patient with us as we review large amounts of applications.
Visit
If approved, schedule a meet-and-greet session. Spend time with the pet to confirm a good fit before finalising adoption.
