Damon Doesn’t Need Sight To Find His Forever Person!

Damon is a truly special little dog with a gentle, loving nature and an endless supply of affection. He adores people and will happily snuggle up close whenever he gets the chance. In fact, Damon is such a cuddle bug that he may even try to climb onto your lap or shoulder just to be as close to you as possible. He is a sweet, affectionate boy who simply loves being around his people.

Despite being blind, Damon is a confident and trusting little dog. He walks nicely on lead and is comfortable being handled, including being picked up. He has shown no signs of aggression or snappiness, even when stressed, startled, or placed in unfamiliar situations. He is an incredibly tolerant dog with a calm and gentle temperament that makes him a pleasure to spend time with.

Damon is still working on his toilet training and will need a patient and understanding family to continue guiding him. Damon would also benefit from ongoing basic training and socialisation to help him build confidence and learn new skills.

Damon is looking for a dog-only home at this stage and would be best suited to a family with older children. His new home should ideally have experience with blind dogs, or be willing to learn how to support a vision-impaired companion. While he is currently seeking a dog-only home, Damon has shown the potential to live and coexist successfully with another suitable dog in the future.
