Your New Adventure Buddy!
Cleo is a sweet, high‑energy Vizsla who thrives on human companionship and routine. She’s deeply affectionate, very food motivated, and happiest when she has someone home with her for most of the day. Her boisterous, jumpy nature means she suits an adopter who enjoys active dogs and ideally has Vizsla experience or familiarity with high‑drive breeds. She travels well in the car, is crate trained, and is fully house trained, making her a great companion for someone who wants a dog involved in daily life.
She has a full‑on play style and loves both toys and off‑lead play in safe environments. Cleo can be moderately strong on the lead, but she has some basic manners and responds well to training thanks to her strong food and toy motivation. She’s vocal, expressive, and thrives with structure, enrichment, and clear guidance. Her enthusiasm can be overwhelming for inexperienced handlers, so she’ll benefit from someone confident in managing high‑energy behaviour.
Cleo can be reactive with other dogs when on lead and will need ongoing training and socialisation to help her feel secure and learn appropriate interactions. Because of this, she’s best as the only dog in the home unless her adopter is experienced and committed to careful management. She could then possibly be rehomed with a medium to large sized dog with similar energy levels. She is absolutely not suitable for homes with cats, as she is not good with them at all. A calm, structured household with secure fencing and plenty of time for engagement will help her thrive.
Her ideal adopter is someone who enjoys an active lifestyle, loves training, and wants a dog who is affectionate, energetic, and deeply connected. Cleo isn’t a background dog; she’s a companion who wants to be part of everything. With patience, consistency, and love, she will reward her person with loyalty, fun, and a vibrant, joyful presence. How Adoption Works
Our adoption process is designed to match pets with the right families, making it easy and stress-free.
Plan
Think about your home, lifestyle, and long-term commitment. Make sure you’re ready to provide a loving, permanent home for a cat or dog.
Search
When you begin your search for a furry friend, read each animal’s description carefully. This ensures both you and the pet will be a purrfect match.
Apply
Submit your adoption application with accurate details so our team can determine the best fit for the animal. Please be patient with us as we review large amounts of applications.
Visit
If approved, schedule a meet-and-greet session. Spend time with the pet to confirm a good fit before finalising adoption.
