Wrapped In Pink, Ready For Love!
Mack is a gentle, sensitive soul looking for a calm and understanding home where he can truly relax. He can be shy when meeting new people and needs slow introductions, but once he feels safe, he forms strong bonds and quickly finds comfort in his favourite person. Mack is currently feeling a little overwhelmed in the shelter environment and would love a patient adopter who can help him build confidence at his own pace.
This sweet boy is very much a homebody. While many dogs thrive on adventures, Mack is happiest curled up on a cosy bed, especially if his beloved pink dressing gown is involved. He spends much of his time quietly resting and is house trained, clean in his space, and settles beautifully indoors. He is not particularly playful at this stage and prefers a peaceful environment where he can feel secure and relaxed.
Mack finds the outside world quite daunting and can become anxious in new environments. Walks are currently challenging for him, as he often pulls on lead in an effort to return to the safety of indoors. He will need a family committed to gradually and positively building his confidence with new sights, sounds, people, handling, and experiences. With time, patience and gentle encouragement, he may become more comfortable exploring, but he is likely to always be a dog who prefers familiar surroundings over busy outings.
Mack is seeking a low-traffic, adult-focused household with older, dog-savvy teenagers considered. He would do best with someone home most of the time who can provide consistency, routine and reassurance. Mack is recommended for a dog-only home, though he may have the potential to peacefully coexist with a calm, mature dog in the future. His new family should also be prepared to support his weight-loss journey and continue his confidence-building training so he can flourish into the happy, secure companion he deserves.🐾

How Adoption Works
Our adoption process is designed to match pets with the right families, making it easy and stress-free.
Plan
Think about your home, lifestyle, and long-term commitment. Make sure you’re ready to provide a loving, permanent home for a cat or dog.
Search
When you begin your search for a furry friend, read each animal’s description carefully. This ensures both you and the pet will be a purrfect match.
Apply
Submit your adoption application with accurate details so our team can determine the best fit for the animal. Please be patient with us as we review large amounts of applications.
Visit
If approved, schedule a meet-and-greet session. Spend time with the pet to confirm a good fit before finalising adoption.
