Rufus is a happy, easy-going boy with a gentle nature and a love for being close to his people. One of his favourite things in the world is curling up on the bed for a good night’s sleep, and he’ll happily soak up all the companionship you can offer. As a former puppy farm dog, Rufus is now discovering how wonderful life as a cherished family member can be.

Rufus enjoys the company of other dogs and takes a lot of confidence from having a canine friend around. Because of this, he is looking for a home with another friendly dog to help him continue learning about the world. He’s also cat-friendly, making him a great fit for a multi-pet household.

On walks, Rufus is a pleasure to take out and about, enjoying exploring at a relaxed pace. He is still learning his toileting skills and adjusting to life in a home, so he’ll need a family willing to be patient, consistent, and supportive as he continues to build his confidence and learn household routines.

Rufus is seeking an adult-only home with someone around much of the time, as he loves company and thrives on having his people nearby. He will need adopters committed to his ongoing training and socialisation, helping him continue to grow into the confident companion he’s destined to be.
