Small In Size, Big On Loyalty!
This is Slinky, a handsome little Chihuahua whose name suits him perfectly. Like a slinky, he may start off a little cautious and unsure, but once he gets moving, he quickly bounces into your heart. Slinky can be scared and timid in new situations, yet he has a friendly nature and a clear desire to interact with people. Even when he’s feeling nervous, he’ll often approach you in his pen to investigate and say hello on his own terms.
Once Slinky has had a few positive interactions with you, he forms strong bonds incredibly quickly. This little guy is a true velcro dog who loves being close to his people. Before long, you’ll find him following you from room to room, keeping a watchful eye on your every move and eagerly jumping up onto your lap whenever the opportunity arises. Human companionship is his favourite thing, and he’d thrive in a home where someone is around for much of the day.
Slinky could happily live as an only dog, provided he has plenty of human company and affection. He may also enjoy sharing his home with a calm, friendly small female dog who can offer companionship and let him do his own thing. He walks on lead but will benefit from further practice and encouragement as he continues to build confidence out in the world. He is also comfortable being picked up and handled, making him an easy little companion to care for.
Slinky isn’t a big eater and can be a bit picky with his food. He is not yet fully house trained and will need continued guidance, routine and positive reinforcement in his new home. With ongoing confidence-building and socialisation, Slinky is sure to flourish. Apply Now for the opportunity to meet the super Slinky.

How Adoption Works
Our adoption process is designed to match pets with the right families, making it easy and stress-free.
Plan
Think about your home, lifestyle, and long-term commitment. Make sure you’re ready to provide a loving, permanent home for a cat or dog.
Search
When you begin your search for a furry friend, read each animal’s description carefully. This ensures both you and the pet will be a purrfect match.
Apply
Submit your adoption application with accurate details so our team can determine the best fit for the animal. Please be patient with us as we review large amounts of applications.
Visit
If approved, schedule a meet-and-greet session. Spend time with the pet to confirm a good fit before finalising adoption.
