DESEXING
We are incredibly passionate about the health and wellbeing of all animals, no matter what the species. It is incredibly important part of being an responsible owner.
There are many health and behavioural benefits of desexing your animal, as well as the prevention of unwanted litters. Desexed animals are generally less likely to get diseases and certain illnesses such as mammary cancer and uterine infections in females and prostate problems in males, it reduced behaviour problems such as roaming, aggression and urine marking in males and prevents mating behaviour and false pregnancy. To learn more about why you should desex your pet, visit Why You Should Desex Your Pet — Australian Animal Protection Society (aaps.org.au)
MICROCHIPPING
Microchipping is a legal requirement and incredibly important.
To microchip an animal, we will require you to provide us with a source code for your animal. This source code can be obtained from the breeder, shelter or seller that you got your animal from. If you are not able to obtain this source code, you will need to register for your own source code via https://per.animalwelfare.vic.gov.au/. Please bring this source number with you to your appointment. If you have any concerns please call us.
VACCINATOINS
It is important to keep up to date with your pet’s vaccinations. Vaccinations help to prevent serious, life-threatening diseases in your pet.
Regular vaccination is an important part of routine health care, ensuring that your pet remains fit and well. Annual boosters are required once every year to ensure an ongoing, strong immunity. We offer all the recommended core vaccines for dogs, cats and rabbits.
