Rocky is a bright, charismatic little French Bulldog who has won over everyone at the shelter with his confidence, friendliness, and larger‑than‑life personality. He greets every person as if they’re already his best friend, and his enthusiasm for life is impossible not to smile at. Rocky is outgoing, social, and full of charm, the kind of dog who brings energy into every room he enters.

He does, however, need a very special person. Rocky is incontinent with both urine and faeces, and accidents can happen at any time, standing, walking, or simply existing in his happy little bubble. He’s not bothered by it, but his future human will need to be someone who can accept this without frustration or judgement. He’s also a wriggly boy during handling, especially if restraint is involved, and he’s perfected the art of the “slippery eel” escape manoeuvre. In his pen, he’s an opportunistic escape artist who believes every open door is an invitation to adventure.

Rocky’s excitement levels can go from zero to zoomies in a heartbeat. He’s bouncy, jumpy, and wonderfully boisterous, a small dog with a big personality and even bigger enthusiasm. He pulls on the leash more often than not, though he does have moments of lovely walking when the stars align. He’s not food‑motivated, which means training will rely more on patience, praise, and creativity. And yes, Rocky is also known to be a bit of a humper, not out of rudeness, but because he’s simply overflowing with joie de vivre and sometimes his body expresses it before his brain catches up.

Despite his quirks, Rocky is a genuinely beautiful dog with a huge heart, and he deserves someone who will love him exactly as he is. He could happily live with another small dog, especially another Frenchie who matches his play style. Because of his energy and handling needs, he’s best suited to a home with children 15+ who can offer structure, humour, and unconditional acceptance.
