Olive is a young, affectionate, and wonderfully engaging girl who adores her humans and loves being part of the action. She’s friendly, sweet, and full of personality, the kind of dog who lights up when you walk into the room and happily joins you for playtime, cuddles, or any adventure you have planned. Olive is a classic velcro dog, loyal, loving, and happiest when she’s close to her people. With her playful nature and love of toys (especially fetch), she brings joy and energy to every moment.

As a young dog, Olive is still learning her manners and will thrive with consistent structure, guidance, and plenty of positive reinforcement. She’s very intelligent, eager to please, and highly food‑motivated, so handlers should always carry high‑value treats to help her focus and succeed. Olive walks well on lead most of the time, though she can be moderately strong and may pull when excited. Because of this, she needs an experienced and confident handler, ideally someone with breed‑relevant experience who can continue her training and help her grow into her best self.

Olive can be vocal and is reactive to some dogs on lead, especially unfamiliar ones, but she is not aggressive, just under‑socialised and easily aroused. She does much better with slow, controlled introductions and should avoid dog parks or high‑traffic dog areas. With dogs she knows, she can settle and interact more comfortably, but she will require ongoing dog‑to‑dog social work to build confidence and calm behaviour. Olive is crate trained, house trained, and thrives with an active lifestyle that includes both physical exercise and mental enrichment to prevent boredom or destructive habits.

This lovely girl is not suitable for homes with cats, as she is fixated and inclined to chase, and she is best matched with families who have children aged 12+. Olive’s ideal home is one that can offer structure, patience, and plenty of activity, a place where she can bond deeply, continue learning, and enjoy the loyal, affectionate life she was meant for.
