Foster to adopt

Darling little Mikey is searching for a very special foster-to-adopt home.

He had quite a rough start to life – and came to us with injuries and symptoms that suggest he was hit by a car/ experienced a major trauma. He has impaired vision and signs of potential neurological damage. Luckily after some specialist vet care, TLC and some time in a loving foster home, Mikey has made some significant improvements and is beginning to realise the world can be an awesome place.

He is a very sweet little boy, but sudden movements and overzealous interactions from people/other animals cause him a lot of stress due to his impaired vision. He requires a soft approach and will need a home who understand dog body language so that he does not feel overwhelmed or crosses his boundaries.

He would love a home with adults only who could be home more often than not to keep watch over him and provide him with all the love and TLC he deserves!

He could potentially share his foster home with another chilled out, relaxed and independent (ideally senior-aged) dog or cat who will not overwhelm Mikey.

With his neurological condition, Mikey can sometimes struggle with toileting in inappropriate places- so he will need an understanding home who will make the accommodations necessary to support him with his toilet training.
