Marvellous Mia, the 10-years-young puurfect house panther is searching for the retirement palace of her dreams.

Originally adopted from AAPS as a kitten a decade ago, Mia’s owner sadly could no longer care for her – but luckily for Mia, she has lived a life full of love, and this shows in her beautiful temperament and her love for human company.

Mia has previously lived with other animals and didn’t mind the company of small dogs who gave her space and cats who were happy to respect her independence. She does not like large dogs, so if there are existing pets in her future forever home, they will ideally be fellow small-breed seniors, who are laid back and don’t expect her to play with them/ are happy to leave her to her own devices.

Mia loves cuddling up under the blankets for a snooze, but we know she would be much happier curled up on her future human’s lap – so she would love a home where her humans had plenty of quality time to spend with her. Mia has always been an indoor cat, so she would like to be kept inside where she is safe and cosy.

Mia is on a prescription renal diet and a daily medication that she will need to continue ongoing, but she is eligible for our “AAPS assist” program that provides generous discounts off of prescription food, medications and veterinary care for any pre-existing conditions (renal, arthritis, dental) for 12 months post-adoption at our vet clinic.
