Brodie

Brodie is a beautiful young pup with his whole life ahead of him.

He truly is a magnificent dog. He has the most ridiculously friendly nature, super sweet temperament and gets along with practically EVERYONE he meets!

Being a kelpie x, this beautiful boy was destined to be driven, incredibly clever and energetic – and he is all these things and so much more! He would love a kelpie/working dog savvy home who knows how to keep his brain and body busy with plenty of enrichment and daily exercise, and lots of opportunities for positive socialisation with the big wide world.

This boy is very food motivated and is a very fast learner, and offering tasty treats and food-based enrichment will make his transition into a new home a lot smoother. Just like any pup, he can sometimes get a little excited on the lead when he sees some friends, but he is incredibly smart and is already doing fantastically with his training. Like any Kelpie, he is very responsive and loyal to his handler and wants to do the right thing and to be told he is a good boy!

He is a very sweet, waggy tailed boy and will soak up affection. He can be bouncy at times from excitement, but this is pretty typical of a pup his age and breed. For this reason, he would be best suited to a home with kids who are very dog-savvy and will tolerate bouncy puppies.

Brodie gets along fabulously with other doggies and could happily share his home with another pup. He would also be happy as your one and only doggy, though! He has even tested quite well with cats in the shelter, so with a slow intro he may be happy to share his future home with a feline friend or two! He would be best suited to a home with dog savvy kids aged 8-10+.
