Blackie

Blackie is a beautiful, sensitive soul.

His fabulously fluffy black coat makes him an absolutely striking kitty to look at – and his amazing golden eyes will melt your heart within seconds of gazing into them!

He has had a rough start to his life, growing up on the streets in colonies and fending for himself in the elements. Luckily for Blackie, a nice human fed him and cared for him so that she could build his trust, and brought him to AAPS where his life changed forever!

This poor little guy shows signs of being a little beat up by other street cats, he has some scars around his beautiful face and tested positive for FIV at only 2 years of age.

Although he is still a little unsure, he is quickly learning that humans can be kind and the world isn’t such a horrible, scary place after all! He has so much love to give to a kind person who is willing to take the time to show him what unconditional love really feels like.

Although he lived in a colony of cats, we aren’t sure if he would like to share his home with other kitties, so at this stage we are looking for a home where he is the only cat.

He would like an adult home with cat-savvy humans.
